Visit to Flor de Jara Bull Farm

Bull ranch of the Santa Coloma breed, whose farm is located in Colmenar Viejo, 45 minutes from Madrid, in the Pedrizas, a magical place in the Alto Manzanares natural park. A short distance from the center of Madrid, you can visit this breeding ranch of renowned brave bulls, as well as perform various activities to know what kind of livestock breed happens here, in what conditions the bull is breeded, how they eat, visit the facilities, discuss with the breeder, and even eat at the farm or attend a training in the fields or the small arena.

The visit consists of seeing a batch of cows with their calves and stallion, and then the litter of males taken out.

Finally, see the livestock facilities, corrals, vaccination sleeves, jetty, crate and groping arena and see the livestock room.

The entire visit is guided by the farmer who is explaining all the issues, present, past and future of livestock and is done in a trailer.

The visit includes a small snack (tapas & a drink).

It is possible as an extra to book a lunch at the farm or see a tentadero (demostration of bullfighting with a cow or small bull, with no blood) (for groups of more than 10 people).
